Hello,
I am streaming a log of what DOORS is doing to a .txt file. If a change is found I would like it to write to the file in a manner that is more eye catching than normal text (e.g. red color or highlighted). Currently I am outputting the a result from the code given below. Is there a way to use rtf format on this string before I stream it to a file?
{Code}
out << (NLS_("\t\t ******Target Module Object Text differs from the Source Module Object Text****** \n"))
{End Code}
Thanks in advance,
rb24

Yes, it's possible. Just create a rich-text file. Easier said than done. You have to learn some rich text codes.
You can also export to HTML, which is much easier. The stream doesn't care what the strings in it say, you just build the file. You need to either know HTML or Rich Text formatting to do this though.

In fact the richText that DOORS generates from the diff() function or that is contained in attributes contains a complete, valid rtf file. Just save it to a file and you should be done. Regards, Mathias

Perhaps save it to file of type "*.rtf" and open it with either MS-Word or WordPad.
